Aeromotive Adustable Fuel Pressure Regulator Install
Test Bed: 91 Eagle Talon
Reason for Install: Stock FPR cannot handle the additional fuel that is supplied by a larger volume pump, therefore when trying to attain higher boost levels the fuel curve is not compensated 1:1 like it should be leading to an overlean condition at higher boost levels. It can also lead to an overly rich condition at idle.
Showing both lines here and how they are routed.

The left hand picture is a blurry close up of how I adapted the rail to use AN lines. That is an Earl's -10 to 3/8NPT Swivel adapter. I used the swivel because I didnt like the idea of haveing any undo stress put on the joint. I used -10 becuase I didnt want to have to deal with all the adapters on the regulator its self, also because -10 is pretty close to the ID of the rail. The bigger the AN line, the easier it is to work with also. On the right is a picture of the regulater mounted. I have a problem with this location though, it transfers a ton of vibration into the cabin from the motor. I have also since changed the -10 out on the regulator to a 45^ hose end to clear the clutch master cylinder.
